In a video released today Osama Bin Laden made it clear that there are two ways to end the war:
- Die
- Convert to Islam
I am not a fan of either. In fact, I am disgusted by this nonsense and continue to advocate the full force of civilized humanity be used to rid the planet of Bin Laden, his supporters, and similarly-minded killers.
Bin Laden derives his power from conducting a perpetual state of war. He has no desire to see the fighting stop; even a total victory in which Islam envelops the globe would likely be too boring an end-state for his tastes. Please, humanity, I urge you to continue resisting terrorism! Do not give in from complacency, fatigue, or idiocy!
